How to Register
Parents

If you are interested in giving your son an opportunity to experience what scouting is all about and would like to register your son with our pack, you can do so in a couple of ways.

• If your child has a friend in Cub Scouts, have your son attend a den meeting with his friend. The den leader can provide your son with all the necessary registration forms and answer any questions you or your son may have.
• Attend a Pack Meeting. Pack meetings are usually the last Monday of every month (please see our calendar of events for the next pack meeting). Any scout leader at the meeting can answer any questions you may have and provide you with the necessary registration forms.
• Go to our Leaders page and contact any one of the leaders listed there.

Registration Fee

The regsitration includes the following:

• Insurance for Scouts.
• All awards for Scouts including, but not limited to: advancement patches, belt loops, pins, trophies, ribbons, and other awards.
• Scouting magazine.
• Quality or Honor Unit patches.

Fee Break-down:

• Individual Registration Fees - $10.00 each.
• Boys Life Magazine - $9.00
• Pack Dues: Tiger Cubs - $18.00 or Wolves/Bears/Webelos $36.00 per year.

Scholarships

Should fees or any costs becode a problem for your family, please contact the Cubmaster or Pack Committee Chairperson. Scholarships are available and all requiests will remain confidential.

Volunteers

Quality leadership is important in the training of youth as members of the Boy Scouts of America. It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping instill values in young people and, in other ways, prepare them to make ethical choices over a lifetime of achieving their full potential. Parent volunteers are always needed. Registration and training are provided by the Pack for those who are interested in helping. If you would like to help in any capacity, please contact the Pack Committee Chairperson, Cubmaster, or your son's Den Leader. All types of help are needed - driving for trips, assisting in Den Leaders absence, etc. Remember that Cub Scout Packs don't exist without volunteer leadership.

If you If you would like to become a volunteer leader, committee member, or helper you can also register with the Boy Scouts of America.

Note: Membership fees for volunteer leaders and committee members are paid for by Pack 577.
